      Our company name is an act of love, a tribute to an area rich in beautiful landscapes, art, history, traditions and fine food: Marca Trevigiana. We come from the foot of the Montello hills, where the plain begins to shift upwards into gentle, lush, green rises; a land already described as “Gioiosa et Amorosa” way back in the 12th century, testifying to the beauty and generosity that are its hallmarks.

      Our links with Veneto and Italy go back a long way, and are rooted in a love of the land and its finest fruits, along with artisan skills that have remained a signature feature of the company, allowing us to feel part of the industry that every day takes our quintessential Italian craftsmanship and imagination all over the world.

      Female empowerment has always been dear to our heart here at MarcaGel, which has been guided by the vision, determination and creativity of owner Federica Foscolo from the beginning. We employ a large proportion of women in all areas of the company, including the production department, and promote inclusion within our team in every way possible. We are also aware of our responsibility towards the local community, and we support a variety of activities and projects in the area. For us, however, sustainability goes further.

      In keeping with our responsible approach to the environment, we have invested in clean energy sources and machinery with low water consumption; we’ve also adopted a responsible supply chain, working in close collaboration with suppliers who share our principles, with a view to creating added value not only for the company and our customers, but for the whole community.

      sustainable future

      To reduce the environmental impact of our production cycle, we’ve mad further investments in technology, and have acquired the following:

      01
      70 kw photovoltaic panels and accumulator batteries that cover 70% of our needs.

      02
      Digital vacuum emulsifying mixer for the production of pastes and variegates, able to optimise production times and thus save electricity and mains water for cooling.

      03
      Closed-loop water chiller, to reduce mains water waste by more than 50%.

      04
      Steam generator, with the aim of using steam rather than electricity to run machines that have to be operated at high temperatures, thus saving energy.

      We know the value of taking time
      and taking care

      Thanks to our craftsmanship origins, we are highly skilled in all kinds of raw material processing, without the use of automated cycles: this is what allows us to guarantee superior product quality. Our products are made in small batches, ready to be quickly transported to their destinations and thus maintaining their characteristic freshness intact.

      From sugar to milk products, as well as natural stabilisers and selected and graded fruit, we purchase our ingredients from companies with a guaranteed supply chain able to ensure consistent quality. Mediterranean pine-nuts, Bronte pistachios, hazelnuts from Asti and Cuneo, almonds from Bari and Spain, vanilla from Madagascar, cocoa from the Netherlands, and many more outstanding products from their places of origin.

      We work to enhance these prime-quality ingredients, turning them into fresh, balanced, ready-to-use semi-finished products.
